Words Matter

Words are powerful!

The things we say and how we react to people and life’s challenges matter. Your words can move mountains or they can build large walls. Make sure your words are carefully chosen.

Sometimes our words are not enough. If we say things we never follow through with….does what we say really matter? If we say one thing and do something totally different…does our words really matter? If we use a tone with our words that is not sincere, lacks empathy or compassion….do our words really matter? If we use our words as a way to tear down, disrupt a conversation or cause division….do our words really matter? If your words are spoken with a hidden agenda or with the hopes for recognition…..do they even really matter?

Oh be careful little mouths what you speak.

Don’t underestimate the power in your words. The devil doesn’t. He works tirelessly to get you to use your words negatively. Through Him You Are Stronger! Show grace, love, compassion and give your words an eternal meaning. Let your love for Jesus shine through the things you say to others. Be consistent and uplifting. Bring encouragement to people who need it. Be reliable with what you say you’ll do and follow through. It will show your senserity and commitment to others. Don’t speak to only be heard or seek to draw attention to yourself. Don’t tell someone you will pray for them and never follow through with those prayers.

Always Speak Life!

Take control of your life with the control of your tongue. Refuse to speak anything but what the word of God says about life or the situation. Watch how you make a difference in others. Watch how your words bless your own life too.
